Encore believes that creativity strengthens communities, making them more vibrant places to live and work. Their focus is around enhancing that creativity in our community and making access to the arts an affordable possibility for all.
In 2012, Launceston City Council acknowledged Encore’s achievements in the Volunteer Recognition Awards with a Certificate of Excellence for the Company (40,000+ volunteer hours) and 27 individual certificates of recognition for highly active members of the team.
Encore was also recognised in 2012 as:
FINALIST Southern Cross Community Achievement Awards 2012, in the category of Prime Super Events and Tourism Award (Jesus Christ Superstar) and SEMI-FINALIST Community of the Year Award.
FINALIST Launceston Chamber of Commerce Awards 2012, in the Category of Outstanding Event of the Year (Jesus Christ Superstar).
