Awards 2010

It’s not enough to announce ‘hey, let’s put on a show” and expect community support and to be successful. Theatre projects need to be driven by an energetic and disciplined committee to maximise audience awareness and most importantly, community engagement of the event.

Following an outstanding 12 months of productions, including the Tasmanian Premiere season of The Boy from Oz and the epic Les Misérables, Encore Theatre Company was honoured to receive the 2010 Launceston Chamber of Commerce award for Enhancing Regional Culture.
