Appropriately billed as “the musical of a lifetime”, the story focuses on the extraordinary life of Peter Allen, from his humble beginnings growing up in an Australian bush town to his meteoric rise to fame as an international star.
Featuring elaborate sets, dazzling costumes and unforgettable songs like Don’t Cry Out Loud, I Honestly Love You, I Still Call Australia Home and I Go to Rio, Encore Theatre Company presented the Tasmanian Premiere Season of The Boy from Oz in Northern Tasmania’s most prestigious venue, the Princess Theatre.
