Celebrating their 10th Anniversary, the world’s favourite musical comes to the Princess Theatre in November 2018 with a dazzling new production from Encore Theatre Company, the team that brought you Wicked, Mary Poppins and The Phantom of the Opera.
One of the greatest musicals of all time returns to the stage in a magnificent new production to enchant the young and the young at heart. This wonderfully lavish new staging tells the true story of Maria and the world-famous von Trapp singing family, from their romantic beginnings and search for happiness, to their thrilling escape to freedom at the start of WWll.
The unforgettable score features some of the most memorable songs ever performed on screen and stage, including Edelweiss, My Favorite Things, Do-Re-Mi, Climb Ev’ry Mountain, So Long Farewell, and of course, The Sound of Music.
