From the director to the dressers, the actors to the program sellers, Encore is a not-for-profit community theatre company and run entirely by volunteers. Since their formation in mid-2008, Encore have built a friendly, welcoming team that has brought together 5th generation Tasmanians with recently relocated members of the community from as far afield as Western Australia, Queensland, New Zealand, Canada and the UK!
Encore’s strong community engagement is clearly demonstrated with some 400+ volunteers each year working to create their community productions.
